Meet Tara, an exceptional and hardworking dry stone waller dedicated to preserving a dying craft. Known as StoneWaller Girl, she combines skill, determination, and passion to keep ancient walls standing strong as well as adding to the history with building new walls. Despite facing challenging weather and remote locations, Tara’s unwavering mindset and love for her work ensure that this heritage art remains alive for future generations.
Her primary focus is large dy stone repair projects in the farming industry, although also having expirence in new builds, garden projects and mortared walling.

Tara, known as Stone Waller Girl, agreed to participate to challenge herself and showcase the craft of dry stone walling, which is often seen as a male-dominated field requiring strength and hard labor. She finds it rewarding to help preserve this dying craft.
Believing that anyone, regardless of gender, can excel in this field and is encouraged by more women showing interest in it. Despite facing some stereotypes, she enjoys proving her capabilities and learning from farmers' hard work, being outdoors and just having you are your own determination.
